Arena of Champions Live: Open arenaofchampions.live

Last updated:

Use arenaofchampions.live to open Arena of Champions in your browser. This guide is for reaching the game and getting past its opening screen. For the game overview and how it differs from other fan projects, read the Arena of Champions guide.

Play Arena of Champions

Open arenaofchampions.live

Open the official address in a normal browser tab. Check the address bar before entering any information: the host should be arenaofchampions.live. This is an independent guide, and the Play link takes you to the game developer's site. We do not host a mirror or provide a launcher.

The domain ending in .live is the address, rather than a separate livestream or a paid edition. Searches with spaces, such as “arena of champions live”, and searches for “arenaofchampions live” can refer to this same destination. A similarly named result is not enough to establish that another site hosts the game.

You do not need the World of Warcraft client to open this browser version. Do not enter Battle.net credentials into a fan game. If a search result asks you to install an unrelated browser extension or an APK first, return to the direct address above.

What you see before the game starts

At our November 1, 2026 check, the official opening page contained a game canvas and a “Loading…” status. Its startup script fetched a WebAssembly client, then hid the loading message when the renderer initialized. That means seeing the initial page does not by itself confirm that the game has finished loading or connected to a match.

The same startup script can display “Failed to start” followed by an error. If you see that, save the complete message. A compilation error and a stalled download need different checks; repeatedly pressing Play will not identify either one.

How long should the first visit take?

There is no published guaranteed startup time. The main WebAssembly response reported 45,706,834 bytes, about 45.7 MB, during this check; assets and network conditions can add more time. Updates can change that size. The earlier 38 MB estimate should not be treated as a current requirement.

Give the first attempt roughly a minute as a practical observation period, not a deadline. Keep the tab open and avoid repeated refreshes while files are still arriving. A slow connection may need longer. If nothing changes, refresh once and use the not-loading checklist. It covers download failures, browser updates, graphics settings and a careful cache reset.

Can you start as a guest?

Community reports describe guest play, but the public opening HTML does not document the current login flow. Let the live game finish loading and use its guest option if one is offered. If the current interface requires an account, do not assume an old video describes today's behavior.

After the game appears, click inside the game area before using keyboard controls. Browsers can also wait for a click or key before allowing game audio. Hearing nothing on the first screen is not, by itself, evidence of a broken installation.

Try an updated desktop browser in a regular tab, outside an embedded video or social-app browser. Compare one other browser before clearing stored data. If both fail, record the error, browser version and whether the problem happens before or after the game interface appears. Continue with Arena of Champions not loading, or return to what Arena of Champions is.
